Taipei, Taiwan, April 27, 2006-- Leadtek Research Inc., the exclusive workstation partner of NVIDIA in Asia except in Japan, today announced the NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 X2 graphics solution is the latest addition to the company's growing line of solutions for advanced visualization systems requiring scalable graphics performance. This solution joins the recently announced NVIDIA Quadro FX 5500 card with the NVIDIA Quadro SDI and G-Sync option cards—the most extensive line of products for this growing market segment.

NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 X2 includes 512MB GDDR3 per GPU, quad dual-link DVI-I connectors, a stereo connector, and is SLI and G-Sync capable. The ultra-high performance professional graphics solution powers film & broadcast, oil & gas and visualization systems, and it shatters the limits facing CAD, DCC, and visualization applications. Armed with a radically new graphics architecture engineered to address the most demanding challenges facing professionals, Leadtek Quadro FX 4500 X2 delivers up to 33.6 GB/sec. memory bandwidth, 1GB (512MB per GPU) GDDR3 frame buffer memory, 256-bit memory interface and support for 4 ultra-high resolution (up to 3840 x 2400 @ 24Hz on each panel) digital panels.

Multi-GPU rendering delivers absolute maximum performance and highest image quality, leveraging 32x full scene antialiasing (FSAA), for graphics intensive applications. Certified on CAD, DCC, and visualization applications, NVIDIA Quadro FX 4500 X2 sets the standard for the industry's highest workstation quality.

Here is the first official testing result of actual professional application by Leadtek and NVIDIA with Quadro and FireGL series. It is good to know that the SPECviewperf 8.1 numbers clearly speak for themselves: The Quadro FX series are the must have for any serious CAD/DCC users. Once again, NVIDIA rings in the season with the fastest chips that deliver more realistic graphics for ultra high-end, high-end, mid-range, and entry-level segments.

We'll show you the actual characteristics along with plenty of SPEC's benchmark tests. All of these are tested on 3.8 GHz Pentium 4 and SPECviewperf 8.1.
