WinFast® HPVC 1100, a whole brand-new generation of MPEG4-AVC/H.264 transcoding Box developed by Leadtek is, composed of Toshiba high-performance stream processor SpursEngine™*1 integrating four of Synergistic Processing Element (SPE)*2 cores based on the "Cell Broadband Engine™*3” intelligence power protection, working with NB via Express Card plug-in. SpursEngine can be used with an existing NB with PCI-E port by adding WinFast® HPVC 1100.

Smart Proxy
The huge HDV frames require a high-end computer to process and edit in real time. To solve this problem, DVD MovieFactory offers Smart Proxy mode, in which it downconverts the HD video to a lower-res proxy, all in the background as you edit. You then can edit the video with real-time performance on more typical computers and laptops. The proxy video is used only for editing; when you export, the proxy clips link back to the HDV original, so the final output is generated at full HD quality.
