Two months ago we had a go with the Leadtek WinFast PX7800 GTX TDH card, and it was a heck of a ride indeed. Sporting 256MB of DDR3 SDRAM and delivering blazing fast frame rates, that was an excellent choice that any gamer would appreciate. This time, we're going to check out another variation of this card – the MyVIVO Extreme Edition – that is basically a supped up version with better performance and features.

Hop on and enjoy the ride!

From the specifications alone, we should be expecting better performance out of this baby. The NVIDIA GeForce 7800 GTX TDH processor on this card is running at a core

clock speed of 490MHz, which is significantly faster than the 430MHz of the previous card. Furthermore, the memory clock speed is 50Mhz faster at 1250MHz.

Big, mean brute

This card sports a very impressive cooler – a large heat sink is slapped on top of the core components such as the GPU and SDRAM modules, and is backed by a powerful fan and a few heatpipes. This oversized cooler takes up plenty of space on the card, and this consumes an extra expansion slot's worth of space in the PC.

Also, as the name implies, this card offers plenty of TV-out functionality including VIVO and HDTV support. The TV-out dongle that is bundled with the card provides connections for various interfaces including composite video, S-Video and component

video output. The card supports dual DVI connectors too, and supplies two DVI-to-VGA converters for users that don't have DVI-capable monitors.
