Multiple GPU support

WinFast GS4840 features a powerful GPU architecture that supports up to 10 double-width GPUs in a 4U server, including NVIDIA® A40/A30/A10/A6000, Tesla V100s/V100/T4, Quadro RTX8000/RTX6000®, plus features NVIDIA NVLink® Bridge to enable scaling of performance in order to meet the demands of AI, high-performance computing, and 3D rendering applications.

PCIe® 4.0 doubles the data transfer speed over the previous generation

PCIe 4.0 delivers double the I/O performance over PCIe 3.0. You can use 128 lanes of I/O to double the network bandwidth that ties together HPC clusters and satisfies voracious needs for east-west bandwidth. For other application needs and in virtualized environments, you can connect with higher speed to GPU accelerators, NVMe drives.

System Health Monitoring

The system has an onboard Baseboard Management Controller (BMC)
chip that supports system health monitoring.

Onboard Voltage Monitors

The onboard voltage monitor will continuously scan crucial voltage levels. Once a voltage becomes unstable, it will give a warning or send an error message to the IPMI WebGUI and IPMIView. Real time readings of these voltage levels are all displayed in IPMI.

Environmental Temperature Control

System Health sensors in the BMC monitor the temperatures and voltage settings of onboard processors and the system in real time via the IPMI interface. Whenever the temperature of the CPU or the system exceeds a user-defined threshold, system/CPU cooling fans will be turned on to prevent the CPU or the system from overheating.

Fan Status Monitor with Firmware Control

The system health monitor embedded in the BMC chip can check the RPM status of the cooling fans. The CPU and chassis fans are controlled via lPMI.

System Resource Alert

This feature is available when used with SuperDoctor 5. SuperDoctor 5 is used to notify the user of certain system events. For example, you can configure SuperDoctor 5 to provide you with warnings when the system temperature, CPU temperatures, voltages and fan speeds go beyond a predefined range3.
